Small Hiatus

OK, so by now most of you, if not all of you, have given up on me! I'm sorry. I was taking pics most of the time, but I have been busy at work and then didn't want to get on the computer in the evening. Lots has happened...well maybe not too much...but I went to Hawaii. I should make a seperate blog post just for that! It was an amazing trip and I'm so happy that I was able to go to help celebrate Lori for her birthday! I am getting ready to go to Manhattan this weekend for my Sorority's 90th Anniversary celebration! I'm SOOO excited! I get to see a bunch of people I don't always get to see, I get to hang out with my freinds, and I get to go to Rock-a-Belly! Seriously, can you ask for anything more??? OK, so the picture posting might be overwhelming, but I'm making a commitment to start this up again. I think what happened is one week went by and then another and then it just became too much. With me being busier these days, I can't promise a post everyday...but I mean I can promise to post my weeks outfits, just maybe not daily :) Thank you to those of you that didn't lose faith! :) These are some of my favs :)

I love th color combination on this one! The bright purple scarf witht he pop of the yellow belt! :) Love it! :)

This T-shirts (bedazzled) is one of my Fav random finds from J Crew. I LOVE it...I never go into J Crew because, it's just too expensive for my blood (my sister is currently rolling her eyes at me and giving me a lecture about "classic" pieces that I would own forever!) But she did drag me in there one day and I found this...apparently was on sale ;) I will say there is a J Crew outlet (my sister just started jumping up and down) at the Legends that I have yet to visit. Maybe I'll give it a whirl!

I mean who doesn't love purple? And a purple scarf with stripes...couldn't resist. I think you might see something similar later!

OK, this jacket is AMAZING. It was a present from Sara from Banana Republic and let me just tell you, I need to wear it more. The flowers really just make it and the color (light pink) is amazing. I remember I even got complimented on this one at work by someone I didn't know :)

Taylor was helping me out with pics, she knew even then that I needed to update my blog. Yep...it was bad. I LOVE LOVE this shirt. I found it at the Gap after Christmas with my Mom. I loved the color combination and didn't even know at the time that I had a cardi to match! Bonus!!!

Pretty simple, but again, love this jacket from Banana...I think the lesson in the blog is that jackets from Banana are amazing. Just a white shirt and a necklace and my awesome pose and I was off to work...check out the pop of color with the shoes below! :)

Yep, Nine West....too many years ago to count. But I'm still Rocking them!!!

This tank top was an Old Navy find and they had it in a different color combo and I should have bought that one too! Yep, still thinking about it and it was last summer... :( Then I ran across this cute little matching cardi at Gap Outlet. Love the cuff of the jean for summer and my cute white flip flop!

OK, so I can put pictures side by side...who knew! Learn something new everyday :) So, again, basic top and adding some flair with the shoe. Pink Banana T-Shirt and gold necklace with my bejeweled flats from the Gap. Saw these last year, if I remember right they were probably too expensive, but I LOVE them!!!

I bought this red cardi thinking to myself...I need a red cardi, I was always thinking that to myself when getting ready in thte moring. I had been looking high and low...then it took me forever to bust it out. This was for "Go Pack" day when NC State was playing KU. They lost, but KU lost in the end! :) Shout out to Tay, Shae, Ginny, and Kristen!

OK, so are we seeing a pattern. Bright cardi's maybe? OK, I love them. Maybe too much. But seriously, how cute are they! And this one has sparkly buttons! Paired it with my cute little Ann Taylor Loft top and I was good to go!

OH man...is there a story behind this shirt. So, I go to Old Navy. Shirts that are flowy are really in and, mind you, I am in the NORMAL section at Old Navy. So I pick this cute little tank up..such fun bright summer colors and super cute pattern. I get it home, no big deal. I get my bill...it says something about MATERNITY tank top. I'm like, what?? Who stole my card (Julie?...no she's not pregnant either!) And I alsp realize I have started getting Old Navy Maternity emails. What is going on? Yep, MATERNITY shirt!!!! What??? :) Anyway, I love it.

Grey and Red. I have seen this color combo lots of places and it's one of my personal favs. The grey and white striped shirt with my red patent flips...love it! :)

I got this orange shirt on my Outlet Mall Shopping Extravaganza at the last this fall. I was scared it was TOO bright for me, but Lori convinced me otherwise. I had not had the guts to wear it until this day but got alot of compliments and it just so happens that my toes matched the top. Love Pedicures :) I paired it with my leopard flip flops (picture below).

Let me just tell you that I have owned this t-shirt for YEARS and the tags were still on it. If you have seen my closet you are probably not surprised. I feel like I always tried it on but it never fit right, I must have been crazy. So really wanted to wear these flats and I thought Navy would be a good pairing with it. So, I put on the old (literally) shirt and BAM....lovin it!

Peach...I feel like it's a new "in " color. I wish you could see the detail on this shirt better, the tank top has super cute detail at the top and with an army green jacket..it's one of my favs.

Not gonna lie, would probably not have done the belt had I not seen it done by a co-worker the day before. She doesn't read by blog, but I have a feeling she thought, hey...didn't I just do that look yesterday. She would have been right. :) I wanted to wear this yellow cardi so why not throw on a longer shirt and a little belt. Does it work??

Again, stripes with purple and another shirt that I think I have worn once...what have I been thinking?? Anyway the Grey and Purple is going to be a new K-State outfit.

Whew...almost done! This was YESTERDAY!!! I was planning on just being super boring, cause I was in a hurry, but when I saw this cardi...it was perfect to add a little flair to this plain pink shirt!

Yeah...Ok, I promise I won't wait this long again!!!

Valentine's Day!!!

I feel like this day deserved it's own post. I mean it is a holiday!! ;) Not too get all sappy on everyone, but there are really so many people that I am blessed to have in my life and I have so much love for all of them!! I would list each and every one of you out, but I think you all know who you are!! I know everyone says this is a "Hallmark" holiday, but what's wrong with having a day set aside to tell all the people that you love how much they mean to you. I agree, this should happen all the days, but who can complain about a special day. Anyway, I love you all and your humor, friendship, love and support overwhelms me every day! To quote the Bible and 'Hope Floats' : My cup runneth over.

OK..so back to fashion!!!!  I, of course, wanted to wear Red or Pink today. I settled on Red...and spiced it up with some leopard (insert leopard growling sound here) :) Also...included my Valentine in the picure for today!!! Isn't he handsome!!!

Love him!!!

Black Shirt - Gap
Jeans - Banana Republic
Black Flats - Target

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!!!

Is it just me...

OR is everyone just SO busy! I feel like it's everyone, but either way, I definitely fall into that category. It's a good busy...don't get me wrong and I would much prefer to be busy rather than bored. But, when the day is done, lately, I have just wanted to go home...curl up on the couch and catch up on some DVR (not sure how I got so behind) and just get some sleep. Oh, and snuggle with my puppy. :)

So, it actually snowed this week. More than just a dusting. I mean it clearly wasn't the most snow I had ever seen, but it was melted by the next evening...if I had a favorite kind of snow, then this would be it. Not enough to cause me any traffic issues and then it's gone the next day. So, bundled up on Monday and headed to work. I just don't prefer to work from home and my drive to work wasn't bad at all.

I am the definition of bundled: Sweater & Puffer Vest & Ugg Boots! It honestly wasn't the coldest day ever, but when it snows, I just like to be all bundled up.

Purple Sweater - Banana Republic
Puffer Vest - Old Navy
Jeans - Old Nvy
Boots - Old Navy - Not REAL Uggs - I'm OK with that.

Buried in Laundry

FYI...started writing this last week and never finished:

So, I really want to be able to write fun/exciting things about my life everyday. But sometimes, a girl just has to do some laundry. And trust me..it was overflowing. This whole wearing jeans to work thing has definitely decreased my trips to the dry cleaner, but it increases my need to do laundry. Now, I don't mind doing the laundry but if someone would like to stop by and put away all the laundry for me while I'm at work (like, a laundry fairy) then you are more than welcome to stop on by. You wouldn't even have to let Fred out...but I might require that you at least pet him!

LOVE LOVE this shirt! It was a great find at Banana Republic Outlet when I was with my friends on a girl/lake/shopping trip weekend! I have never worn it to work before, and received some compliments. I am trying to put some more pattern in my life and this top definitely helps with that :) I even put on heels...I must have been feeling REALLY spicy on this particular day! Even thought laundry was the most exciting thing in my life last week.

Top - Banana Republic Outlet
Jacket - Gap
Jeans - Old Navy
Boots - Nine West

Public Service Announcement: The picture taking of the Accessories is on a serious downward spiral lately. I will do my best to right this wrong next week! :)

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

So, since this is already late, we'll just go ahead and put last Friday in the same post :) I had been looking at glamour.com (love that magazie) for inspiration and I came across a video where they dicussed wearing something as basic as a plain white tee and jeans and just spicing it up with some accessories and an awesome pair of shoes. Now, this is definitely my style. I would say if I could wear a plain tee every day and then just awesome shoes and accessories, I probably would. SO...that is exactly what I tried to do for Friday.

I have my sister to thank for these shoes. They are suede and a super fun color! How can you go wrong...and I got the match the scarf to the shoes! This is the perfect outfit! :) haha! Now, it was FREEZING on Friday and I clearly didn't watch the weather...because my feet were FREEZING!! But, I mean, the shoes are so cute I think it was worth the sacrifice! Although, I met Kristi, Pat, and Madison for dinner and was forced to change into Ugg Boots!

T-Shirt - Target
Shoes - Banana Republic - Present from my sister
Jeans - Gap
Scarf - I think this was a present from my sister...that makes 2 of these items presents from her..Go Meredith!!

Hope you enjoyed!!!!

My Week...from SuperBowl to Losing a Toaster

Sunday was my friend Kristi's birthday!!! Happy 33rd, friend!!! :) She had a SuperBowl party at her house and we had pizza (ham and pineapple, my favorite kind). So my weekend really consisted of just hanging out and catching up with friends. I came up with a game for the superbowl where I made a list of "bets" for the game. For example, What team will be the first to score?...whoever got the most questions right got a Sonic giftcard. Let me tell you, I think Nikki wanted to card the most! So, I was in the lead toward the end of the game. Everyone was leaving so Pat kept the answer sheets and sent out the final scores. Long story short, I was robbed. Somewhere in the last minutes (and minutes following the game...who knew it was going to be purple gatorade dumped on the coach and who knew the MVP wasn't going to thank ANYONE!!)...not this girl. Matt & Reese ended up winning. So, I was robbed. :)

So after that...here is what I wore Monday:
This was ALL about comfort. I got up and ran on Monday and I needed to be at my dentist appt at 8 (no cavities..woo hoo!!) :) So popped on the old asymatrical sweatshirt jacket and cute little scarf and called it good. Plus, the flats are purple too...and who doesn't love a pair of purple flats! Super cute!

So...today was SUPER SUPER busy at work!! The day flew by though, but other than that...just alot of work! Oh, and a nice chat with my Dad while I drove home from work. That is my favorite time to talk...while I'm driving home from work! Call me!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this blazer. It's a little navy blazer that is lined with light blue and white stripes and did I mention I love it!!?? I got it last year at Gap after Thanksgiving and it was already marked down and was an extra 50% off. I had seen it the day before and then came back the day of Thanksgiving and thought it was gone. I'm not sure how, but my mom found it stuck somewhere random...some other poor soul was trying to hide it..but my mom was onto their games! Yeah for the blazer!!! Yeah for my mom!!

Wednesday:
So, this brings me to the loss of the toaster. So, I have discovered that when I have a sandwich for lunch I like to have my bread toasted. This started when I had a BLT and from then on  I was hooked on toasted bread. Well, really we aren't supposed to have toasters in the break room at work because I guess they think they are going to cause some sort of fire. I know they took ours away when I worked on the 4th floor. Well I come to the 7th floor and surprise!! They have managed to keep a toaster. Yeah!! Well, today, I wander into the breakroom. Where did the toaster go?? I open every cabinet...no toaster. The 7th floor has been found out and they have removed the toaster. Well lucky for me, I have already have a space heater...which I am not supposed to have (another hazard)...so I think I will be BYOT. Bring your own Toaster. Anyway have one they want to donate to my cause? :)

So my leg is doing a weird thing in this pic, but it's the only one I took :) Um, love this outfit.I wish you could see the detail on the shirt. It has a little tie on the front and a flower/decoration thing on the front of upper left side! It's super cute! Got this one for 14 bucks at Gap...score! Well, I think my mom got it...details :)

Whew! That's my week so far! I'll post more tomorrow!!!

Um...so it's been awhile

And...according to my boss, this whole not updating my blog thing is going to start effecting my review ;) So, better start penciling in some time for this! :) So, Let's start with last week and then I'll post again for this week...OK? OK! Again, I keep up with the pictures, it's the getting to work and posting thing where I start to drop the ball. Last week was good, I had a surprise b-day party for my friend Kristi. In the words of Staci "we hid and yelled surprise. She was surprised." :) I loved having all the girls over (minus Sara, Bridget, and KT). It was really nice to sit and chat with everyone, we laughed A LOT!!! Oh, and we facebook stalked...pretty average evening!

Let's get this started:
Wednesday:
Combo for today: Pink and Green. I'm loving it. I may or may not have done this one before, but I don't think so! I wore this jacket to church on Sunday and I got complimented on it...I bought it probably 10 years ago or something! I was super excited to get a compliment on it! I just love the color combo and that is what most of this is about right now, experimenting with color combinations. I saw this combo on TV and was like, HEY! I can totally do that. Paired it with some gray heels and called it good! Hope I inspire you today! :)

Decided to spice it up today with a little color AND pattern. Let me know your thoughts on this one. So I wore a jacket, patterned cardigan, and then a bright top underneath. Do you like this combo? I was on the fence about it, but really didn't have alot of time to comtemplate it that day. I wasn't too excited about it that day, but seeing the pic now I like it a lot more. Try this out...I think it's an easy way to do color and pattern in a fun way!

Yeah For Spring Time in January!

I think my prayers have been answered this winter. I probably just jinxed myself, as we still have all of February to make it through but seriously, the last couple of days have been amazing! I can walk my dog without a coat!!! AND my office has been less of a freezer! AND I love warm weather! AND I think this was much deserved after the arctic tundra that was last winter! Bring on Spring! My outfit today honors spring!

Yeah for Spring Colors and a Spring Scarf! I love this scarf, it's bright and happy like the SUN...can you tell this weather has put me in a wonderful mood! Just threw it on with a t-shirt and some little neutral flats and I was out the door this morning! :)

Relaxing Weekend

My parents came up this weekend to visit and really because my new vertical blinds were (FINALLY!!!) delivered and my Dad needed to come up so we could install them. By "we"...I mean he did the work I "assisted" and my Mom watched TV and drank coffee. :) I think they look awesome, so much better than the cheap ones that used to be there. Oh, the things that you get excited about when you're 32 and a homeowner! :) Woo hoo! ;)
Other than that we relaxed a lot of Saturday, ran a couple of errands, then Kristi and Pat brought Maddie over to meet my Dad. After that, off to church and then a really good dinner at Gordon Biersh (sp?) to celebrate my parent's birthdays! All in all, an uneventful weekend. I basically ran errands all day Sunday. Now...Monday...back to work.
Also...my mom lost her phone this weekend in Wichita BEFORE she left town. Hm, I find myself losing things ALL the time. I FREQUENTLY say that I would lose my head if it wasn't attached. Wonder where I get it from. You will NEVER guess where she found it. She was embarassed to say. Yep, that's right friends...in the garbage disposal. How one loses their phone in a garbage disposal, I'll never know. But...she found it. I mean, it doesn't work. But it's found! :) Hope that brought a little smile to your face, I couldn't stop laughing!

OK, I forgot to post on Friday...so you get a bonus post today :)

Friday:
So, I completed my fashion challege of last week and successfully wore a belt every week. They are kinda constricting. Anyway, threw this little outfit together and I think this is the first time I have ever worn this top. Shocker. I really don't know how I wear all my clothes.

Yeah For Thursday!

OK, so the week is almost over! It hasn't been a BAD week, I'm just ready for the weekend. My parents are coming up this weekend so there will be some tidying up around that house that needs to be done and possibly me (myself & I) taking down my vertical blinds. We'll see about that :) OK, so I managed another belt outfit today...I'm sure nobody cares about this challege...but it keeps me occupied. Not sure about this outfit today, I think I would just rather be wearing jeans. I'll let you be the judge.
I have had this blue skirt FOREVER and I don't think I have ever worn it. Today was the day! Pretty simple but I needed a belt and really, I do think this is cute. Just dressed up for me! I used to wear this kind of stuff EVERYDAY...but now that I can wear jeans to work all those clothes aren't getting as much use.

Again, no jewelry pics. Listen, I had to take out the trash this morning and something had to go. So no jewelry pic :)

Another Day...Another Belt

Fashion Challege from yesterday has been accepted. So...wore another belt today. It's the little things that keep me entertained. :) I'm going to say that I really like my outfit today! After further review of yesterdays outfit...OMG...I look kind of 80s. Seriously, kinda questioning my thought process yesterday. I'm going to chalk it up to running late and just trying to get out of the house. Fashion mistakes DO happen when a girl is running behind schedule! Anyway, much happier with today's outfit. Not much else going on with me, got to visit with Maddie and Kristi last night. Maddie likes coming over to visit me! :)
Love the stripes and the pops of color!!! I think putting the striped shirt on gives it a little something extra! I love the purple (um, cause I pretty much love all things purple) and mustard belt combination. Trying to mix it up with the colors! :) And there it is again, this awesome jacket/sweatshirt combo. I have been wearing this a lot. Maybe too much? Um, well, it's comfortable and I think it looks cute...so I think that justifies the amount of times I'm sporting it!

So, posted this once and forgot to include outfit details...how could I!! So, I'm adding them now!
Black and white striped T - Old Navy
Jacket - Gap
Scarf - Forever 21

Um, no jewelry pics today...sorry, busy busy! :)

The pressure of another belt outfit tomorrow is starting to get to me...stay tuned!

Tuesday, January 24, 2012

What a morning..

So, this was another one of those mornings when the outfit I planned did NOT work out. NOT cute. I hate it when a plan doesn't come together. I really need to maybe try this stuff on the night before, but then I'm doing laundry or feeding the dog, or walking the dog or cooking dinner or watching TV or skyping with my mom. Man. I'm such a busy girl, who has time to try on the outfits, too! lol! :)
So, long story short, I was running late and this is what DID come together and I was SET on wearing my sparkly Toms. I'm not going to say that limits my choices, because I do think the sparkly toms are a nice edition to any outfit...but I did want it to look like it all went together. So, here is is. Maybe a little boring for some, but I was actually quite happy with the result considering this was like outfit number 4. :)
Yep, back to the pink and gray! But...cute?? I also realized that today is Day 2 of me wearing a belt!! So, maybe it's belt week? Hm, we'll have to see if I can incorporate a belt tomorrow. Fashion challenge! Also, I'm tucking in. I'm going to say it...I think before I was not a fan of the tucking and I probably would haev made fun of someone tucking...but I think the tucking (I was planning on a more blousy top) and then belting is cute. I like it. Thoughts?

Single Girl in the City Weekend...

I know, the title sounds interesting...like I had a weekend of shopping, going out, excitement, and good stories. Um...this would be FALSE. I had an "all house clean" weekend...I know, I know...you're all jealous of my super fun single life. I came home on Friday night and totally vegged out...my DVR is seriously full and it was practically begging me to sit on the couch and watch some shows. Who was I to argue? Saturday consisted of taking Fred to the Vet (in sweats), then coming home and cleaning the kitchen and main floor (in sweats), and then running two errands (in sweats). I was FORCED to get out of my sweats to meet Nikki for church...I needed to protect my reputation of fashionista, so I didn't think continuing the sweats to church was a good idea. I also went to dinner with Kristi and her parents...I think they appreciated me putting on jeans and a sweater :) Then more DVR.
Sunday?? I left the house ONCE...to go grocery shopping!! Then home for more cleaning and then I made banana bread. Cleaning and Baking...am I a 1950's housewife or a 32 year old single girl...you decide. Wait..left the house twice because I didn't have vanilla for the banana bread so I was forced to go back to the grocery store. I also managed to squeeze in painting my nails. Then more DVR.
However, I was quite happy with my relaxing weekend. I'm not complaining...a girl needs one of these weekends every once in a while :)
I also picked out my outfit for today, here it is!!
Yep, Rockin the belt today. I have been wanting to wear this belt for awhile and today was finally the day. I couldn't decide between boots or heels with this, but finally just settled on the boots. I don't think I have worn these this season with the unseasonably warm weather...and I thought it was supposed to be nice today...so I wasn't sure boots were the appropriate shoe choice. However, when I was walking into work and it was SUPER windy and cold...I was glad I made this choice.

It's COLD outside!!!

Um, hello freezing temps!!! I shouldn't complain (and, trust me, I'm thankful) but this was one of the first days where I feel like it's REALLY cold. Walking Fred was quite the chore...I kept saying to him..."Fred, it's so cold out here!" He didn't seem to mind too much :) So, really cold, but I really wanted to wear a skirt. SO skirt and boots it was! Now, lets not get ahead of ourselves, as I mentioned yesterday...I'm not the "wake up in the morning and throw on something fabulous" type of girl. Today was a perfect example of this. With seriously NO plan and the decision to wear a skirt coming to me this morning...let's just say my room looks like a clothes bomb went off. I had an outfit in my head that just didn't pan out...so it was on to plan B, C which really just came about because I mean I have to wear SOMETHING to work and I needed to get out of the house!! Seriously, it was bad, I even stepped on my dog because I thought he was a pile of clothes! Oh man!!! haha!!! OK...so here is what was decided on...hope you like it and that it was worth the effort to put this together.
I know, maybe the black top was too basic and boring...but seriously, the skirt kicks it up a notch, right? I think the skirt looks more bright in person. :)
Black Turtle Neck -  Banana Republic
Skirt - Old Navy on super sale
Black Boots (flat) - Old Navy

Seriously, had to move clothes out of the way for this picture....I didn't want to be too embarassed! :)

Just the basics! :) Hope you enjoy! Happy Friday, everyone!!! :)

My week in Review...

OK, here are all the outfits for this week...One Blog - One Week...get excited people, and settle in...it's already Thursday!

Monday I was still tired from the weekend and I traveled to Manhattan on Sunday with Staci for Corp Board for the house. We tried a new taco place that was really good! The pineapple salsa was amazing and the fish taco I had...it had some kind of sauce on it that you would seriously want to eat with a spoon. It's behind So Long and owned by the same people...so small little place...but, those are the best places to eat in Manhattan. LOVE being in Aggieville. It just makes the heart smile. Anyway, so I think I was litteraly dragging myself out of bed on Monday morning...but this is what I came up with.

I got this new little asymetrical sweatshirt jacket (that was a mouthful) for Christmas and I really love it. Looks cute as a jacket, but BONUS it's super comfortable like a sweatshirt! How can you go wrong? It's a combination of two of my favorite things...sweats and jackets! Genius!

I think you have seen all of this Jewelry before...So I'll spare you the details :) I feel like I get redundant with this stuff...but you can always comment and ask me if you're curious! :) One day down...three to go! Hope you're still with me!

Tuesday:
OK, so was under the assumption it was going to "snow"/"flurry" on Tuesday. And...maybe I just wanted a good excuse to wear my "Ugg" Boots again. So, at least I told myself it might snow and pulled on the Ugg Boots anyway....so no snow...but I was still happy and warm and cozy in my boots. So, all in all...good day if you ask me. I got a good nights sleep on Monday and was ready to go for Tuesday. I was like a whole new girl! This sleep thing isn't overrated AT ALL!! :)
Since I was so refreshed from my amazing sleep...I think I brightened it up a bit today! I know, another puffer vest...even my DAD has been asking me about where my blog is AND commenting about the amount of times I wear these vests. I told him "I love a good puffer vest" :) SO, this ones for you, Dad! :) This one even has faux fur...which I contemplated taking off for work...but then decided to rock it :) Glad I did, I know Vickie appreciated it! :)

Wednesday:
So, my parents forgot to bring my stocking when they came for Christmas (for those of you that don't know, my stocking is the size of a small child and I refuse to let my mom get away with not filling it)...so I got a package on Tuesday night with a bunch of goodies! One of them being this army green scarf...I know, is there I day that I don't wear a scarf? I just think they are a perfect and SUPER EASY way to add color or pattern to my outfit. Cute and little effort, so I'm all about it. Anyway, just couldn't wait to wear this one. So, this outfit was born out of the need to wear my new green scarf.

YEAH....were back!!! Thursday!!! Today!! Thanks for sticking with me...assuming you did :)
So, last night I was skyping with my parents and making dinner and had to run errands on the way home...then after dinner it was ESSENTIAL that I AT LEAST take the decorations off the last remaining Christmas dec in my house....the tree. So, that was my after dinner task instead of trying to plan my outfit for today. Yes, I plan these things...I'm not a wake up and throw something fabulous together kind of girl...I think about these things. Hence...the title of the blog. I mean if I waited until the morning of...there would be clothes everywhere...and let's face it, sometimes it's that way anyway :) So, this morning I really had to think about this one...but when I remembered this sweater I hadn't worn...my outfit prayers were answered!
Um, so I mentioned that I liked leopard right? Well, honestly, leopard print is in this year...so I'm just following the trends :) This is another jacket that I got for Christmas that my Mom picked out on her own...she did an awesome job. This is also sweatshirt material but more structured (again, perfect combo) and this was has a satin lapel. It's so cute!
