Happy "Noon" Year's Eve!

I mentioned yesterday that today I had a "Noon" Year's Eve party with friends! It was SUPER fun and I think we're going to do it again next year. All the kids came and we had a "champagne" toast at noon! So, even though this was a party in the middle of the day...I think I owed everyone a little "sparkle"...it's New Years Eve, after all. So, I decided on gold. Sparkly fun! I wasn't sure about the jeans, but I got compliments...however, these are my friends, so maybe they just want to encourage me to keep up with my blog a little better! ;) So, here is Party #1 outfit!

The infinity scarf is sparkly gold and the puffer vest has a faux fur collar...I think that might have stepped it up a notch :)
Sprarkly Scarf - Ann Taylor Loft
Off White Puffer Vest Gap
Cacky Tee - Gap
Skinny Jeans - Gap
Gold Flats - Gap City Flats

Of course I added a little more sparkle with my accessories!
Necklace - Honestly..NO idea...maybe Target??
Watch - Premier
Gold and White Polka-Dot Bracelet - Premier

I have already decided on my outfit for tonight...it was essencial I get this taken care of...I can only imagine if I waited to decided tonight that my room would have been a bigger disaster than what it is right now! So, think I'll be painting my nails this afternoon and just relaxing before tonight! Happy New Year Everyone!!! Be safe!!

Heels???

Good Morning, Ladies :) Yes, it's true, I have decided to wear a HEEL!!! I have been totally neglecting my heel collection for the comfort of a flat for too long. I had to break out of the mold today and spice it up for my readers with a little heel. Hey, it's Friday...why not? :) So, actually really love this outfit. I really love light pink, it just makes me happy and with the weather being what it is...I'm just in a happier mood! This outfit is just simple and still fun! Plus, I'll be getting spruced up tongiht and tomorrow so this simple/cute/comfortable is just what I need. I'm celebrating Tay's 29th Birthday tonight with dinner at Bristol...very excited for this...so I'll post later with my outfit of choice for that! And with tomorrow being new years eve I'm in the midst of a dilemma on what to wear with the super cute sequin skirt that I got from my sister for Christmas! I seriously started trying on options this morning before work...I actually had EXTRA time since there is NOBODY on the highways this week! Anyway, this is when it would be nice to have someone live with me...so they can help me decide what to wear with this skirt...anybody want to be my temporary roomie and come on over and help me out. I'm taking volunteers! Heck, if you want to team up and I'll have two temp roomies, totally cool with me! :) Either way, I have options and we'll see if it helps me find a beau for midnight ;) Also, going to "noon" years eve at my friend Staci's with all my friends and their little kiddos! What a CUTE idea I thought! :) Busy Busy weekend for me. Glad I have Monday off to recover! OK...so on with the outfit...right?

Again, I am LOVING this rolled up (not super skinny) jean with heels look. I mean, I don't know, is it just me? I think you can all pull this off!!

I wish you could see the cuff bracelet on the left a little better, I'll have to try and take a better pic and make a post about it. It's my brand new bracelet and I just LOVE IT!!

Thursday...

So, is this considered back on track now!!! :) Yeah, I'm posting on the right day! High five and a gold star for the day! :) Finally took my car in today because the guy who I was in the accident with was finally harassed enough to call his insurance company. Maybe the police report I filed and the seriously outstanding Officer Burns of the Lenexa Police Dept is to thank for that. Seriously, she went above and beyond to help me and I'm going to be writing a letter of thanks. It was just a fender bender but she called me several times and continued to follow up on the incident. Just wanted to give that shout out...although, she's not reading this. I don't think. :) So, I'm now driving a rental, it's a Nissan and I actually have to had to have a couple of rentals in the past (don't ask) and these are my favorite! OK, so worked from home a little this morning and then took the car in...so of course, I am coming in a little late. UM...tons of people are back at work today. I look like the slacker now, where have you people been the last two days?? :) So, outfit for today...orange with a "splash of fushia"...per my co-worker Vanessa...see people are back and now they want to check me out! :) jk!
Love this new scarf, and it made it's debut appearance today. I watched What Not to Wear last night and I was thinking about how they say there are four things an outfit should have "color, pattern, texture and shine" My original pick had no pattern...so I was for some reason fixated on this...so I changed and went with this scarf. Color...hello! orange, do you get more color than that? Texture...I say the varying texture of jeans and scarf count. Shine...I think I am enough shine...but the shoes are patent leather for a little extra :)

Blog-o-polooza

OK, I know I have been totally MIA..but between geting ready for the holidays and then the actual holidays, things have just been hectic! My Christmas was awesome, it was really nice to have my Mom and Dad come down and spend Christmas in KC. Santa was very good to me and I hope he was good to all of you too! So, to kick off this blog...I took Thursday off work and went for coffee with friends and then to get a pedicure and do a little shopping :) I had a lot of friends come in from out of town for the holiday and I loved being able to spend time with all of them! I miss them a lot, and I love any excuse to get together with my friends...and all the kids:) So, here is the outfit from my Thursday off!! There some extra *BLING* to this outfit thanks to my sister! Happy Birthday to me!

I have only worn them once, but can't wait to wear them more. Don't want to OVER wear them though, is that possible?? OK, thoughts, I hope you love them as much as I do :)

NOW FOR SHOPPING DAY AT THE PLAZA WITH THE 'RENTS:
So, of course a visit from the parents is not complete without a shopping day at the plaza. We ventured down there on Friday...not gonna lie...I was worried about throngs of people and not making out of there in one piece! However, it was surprisingly calm and we had a very nice day...what is UP with this weather. I'm going to stop before I jinx it...but, trust me, I'm SUPER thankful! :) So, for walking around all day I thought that leggings were in order. I needed to be comfortable above all else. Plus, I love this sweater an I think it might be one of Krist's favorites too!

Sweater - Ann Taylor Loft
Scarf - Birthday gift from Madison
Black Leggings - Forever 21

Sorry friends, was in a rush and didn't get to the accessories :(
Hope you enjoyed!

So, I took a break and there were no pics from Saturday/Sunday/Monday...sorry friends. BUT..back and better then ever for Tuesday:

OK, so it seems as if I wore this scarf  many times in a row, but hey...its Christmas, it's red, and 'tis the season...plus I seriously love this scarf. Since nobody was going to be in the office Tuesday...I didn't try and jazz it up to much. But, cute little basic none-the-less. I was super tired on Tuesday and wanted "just one more day" off. Isn't that always the case :(

Wednesday:

Well, Wednesday was better, but still nobody at work. I got to go have sushi for lunch with a big group of friends...and that made the day brighter! I then had to run a million errands after work returning some gifts and replacing those gifts, and using coupons for my birthday that were about to expire (got a sweater at Banana for 5 bucks! Score!) So, here is Wednesday:
OK, love this scarf! It's infinity and it's fatigue pattern (army) and it has splashed of bright gold! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Got a compliment on it at lunch :) I rarely wear it, I feel like it's too unique to wear all the time, like people would notice...but it's super cute and perfect for a little lunch with friends :) Had to spice it up today since I knew I would leave my floor at work and actually SEE other people. I should work from home.

I'm BACK!!!

OK, so I have been taking pictures for the last 3 days SO this is going to be a BONUS BLOG...with 3 outfits :) OK, not really a bonus since I owed you the 3 outfits anyway, but I'm trying to make this exciting since I have been slacking on my blog (not on my JOB) and not updating :) Today is my Friday and I'm super excited because...well I mean who wouldn't be excited for Christmas and being off work...but I get to hang out and see some AWESOME friends and my family is coming  to my house this year. Don't even GET me started on all the cleaning that I need to do...omg...ok I'll stop thinking about that too. I've done a pretty good job at avoiding it so far! :) OK..so here's with the outfits...starting with Monday! :)
So, I sported the sweater vest today. This was pretty much a shout out to Paul Cannon at work who LOVES a good sweater vest. Even though this one wasn't argile...he still liked it! :) I had planned on wearing this with a skirt and boots, but the skirt just didn't end up looking good. I didn't want to change my WHOLE outfit, so I put on jeans and boots. Hope you think it still works.
Blue and White striped Shirt - Gap (old school)
White cable knit sweater vest - Gap (old school)

Sorry no pics of accesories...as you can see I took the pic downstairs last minute :)

Here's Tuesday (I can tell you are all so excited)

OK, so some of you may have seen this before...Nikki at Church a few weeks ago. :) Either way, it was cold on Tueday and I thought I needed the turtle neck...and I love a good puffer vest. This orange one was a good color and I got compliments on it! Plus, the scarf just brings it all together.

Here's Today!!!!
So, I have been thinking about wearing cute cardigans UNDER my jackets to spice things up...OH and keep me warm in my refridgerator of a cube at work. :) I would prefer to have a patterned cardigan so I will be trying this look again...but I thought the cute black buttons on this one were nice. I also love the rolled up skinny jeans with flats. Years ago this would have been something that I only thought my very European sister would do...but I really like it. I love flats. You can move so much quicker in them, while I love a good heal...flats are the WAY. I think I MIGHT be showing my age. :)
Red Ruffle Tank - Ann Taylor Loft

Risky Business...

OK, so personally I think I have taken a fashion risk today. I want to hear all your thoughts, does this work? Should I have toned it down a little bit? Oh man.. :) This is one of those mornings that you REALLY wish there was someone else around to ask...does this look ok?? Am I TOTALLY off the morning, or is this cute? Man..it was nice when Meredith lived with me for the short while :) My friends are always saying she's all "European" in her style now...but I sure could have used her opinion this morning. Also...random...why is that the the smoke detector only starts beeping (low battery) in the middle of the night??? I am downstairs ALL evening with plenty of time to change the battery...but NO...it starts beeping at 1 AM. Do they have some sort of detector that lets them know it's the middle of the night and they need to start beeping and being SUPER annoying while I'm trying to sleep? Do I have a battery at 1 AM...no. Of course not. Ugh. BUT, I digress. Back to fashion, kids! OK, so opinions please! Cute or do I look like a kindergarden crayon box exploded on me?
Blue Cardigan - Gap
White Tee - Target
Green Scarf - Random Shop in London (scarves are SUPER cheap there)
Yellow Belt - Target
Red Wedge Shoes - I belive these have been "borrowed" long term from Sara (thanks friend!!)

So, does this work? This is my attempt at "color blocking", I have been reading/hearing about this trend and, to me, it just means mixing bold and bright colors. I think the fact that I wore a white tee actually tones it down and makes it just a baby step toward color blocking. I think I would have to wear the blue with red shirt or green shirt to truly be color blocking. I looked up a definition and you can do it one of two ways, I think I have chosen the easier way...it's not as "jarring to the eye" and I picked colors next to each other on the color wheel. Here is what I found:

Complementary colors are opposite each other on a basic color wheel. This color combining method works well if you want to make something standout. Note these color combos can be jarring to the eye.
Analogous color schemes use colors that are next to each other on the color wheel. This color combo approach is more harmonious and pleasing to the eye.

They recommend you select an initial favored color in a hue that is flattering on you and then work from there to complete your outfit. Color-blocking does not mean your color selection must be bright – subdued hues work beautifully too. Combine a max of four colors in one outfit - two to three work best.

OK, so I did 4. :)

Well, now that we have all had our little fashion lesson of the day! Thoughts please? Does this work or crayon explosion? I almost put on brown belt and brown flats. BUT, I said I would spice it up today...so here it is!!! :)

Yeah!!! It's Friday!!! :):)

Is it weekend yet??

In case you haven't noticed...and don't already know, I get to wear jeans to work. I love it! It makes for more laundry, but I like that I don't always have to run to the dry cleaner as often! :) Well, speaking of it making for more laundry...I was basically out of jeans. I didn't want to wear heels, and all my jeans I could wear with flats were not clean. Decision made: Dress or Skirt for Thursday. So, dress it was! :) Now that I'm wearing the dress....SO comfortable. This might just be a dress winter for me :) So, I can't lie, I was inspired by a certain friend of mine (Taylor) to do a black dress/brown boot combination. I love them together and I have been really wanting to sport my brown belt. So, this was the perfect opportunity!
Black Shirt Dress - Banana Republic Outlet

Hope everyone likes the outfit and likes the brown/black combination...thoughts??

Better late than never!

OK, so I'm late...super late! Again...I believe this is becoming a recurring theme in my life. Too much to do and not enough hours in the day. Again...recurring theme. So, today is 60 and rainy...for mid December...I'll take it! :) So, didn't want to dress with too many layers today...I wanted to enjoy the nice spring weather while I could. OK, this is a super boring blog today. I'll attempt to spice it up tomorrow. Nothing much going on right now, honestly, just working and running errands. BORING...oh the life of a single 30-something! :)
So, I like the not so tight skinny jeans rolled up with flats look! Wow..that was a lot! OK well, I like it. And, although this cardigan might be boring to some, I LOVE it. Cute little off white cardi with black shiny buttons. Hope you like it!

Not so plain old Tuesday

First, my Tuesday's are crazy anyway! I have 3 clients meetings not to mention the million other things I need to follow up on at work. It's time to face facts, I either need to come in earlier or work a little at night. :) I already eat lunch at my desk :) Anyway, so on top of all of that, I have a hair cut/color at 5:30 so I need to leave a little early AND I got rear ended on the way to work. Yep, on Pflumm. I think I caused a slight back up...and on top of that, it was raining! Oh man. So, the guy hit me...gets out of his car and we look at the damage. It's minimal, but there are evident scratches on the bumper, he says to me...I'm fine with it if you are...UM...NO!!! Hello, I freaking love my car, I'm not driving this illegally tinted little car around with scratches on the bumper! Anyway, long story short, I get him to give me all of his info and was on my way. Late. So, busy day, and not starting off late. :) So, I'll be getting and estimate sometime this week on the damage, I mean I have a hair appt tonight that I just can't miss! ;) So, todays outfit...actually almost wore it last week but saved it up. I love this little scarf and with the rainy day, I opted for boots! Hope you guys like it!

Plain Old Monday

Really...nothing special to report this morning! Just a plain old boring Monday. Blah. I don't have any BIG plans this week mainly just chores to do and errands to run. I did accomplish getting my Christmas cards yesterday! Yeah!!! So, I'll probably be working feverishly on those for the next couple of nights. Look forward to one of those in your mailbox! I do love getting Christmas cards, they are so fun...plus anything is better in the mailbox then the same old assortment of bills, junk mail, and coupons for shopping that I don't need (but that I DO love)! The coupons suck me in everytime. It's think to myself, it's such a good DEAL! How can I NOT use it. Then, of course, you go in and use the coupon and what do they do...put yet ANOTHER coupon in the bag with your new purchases. Oh Man!!! Here we go again...I'm the sucker they are hoping for! :) OK, maybe I'm not that bad...maybe it's not EVERY time on EVERY coupon, but I mean I have been that girl. Especially combined sale with coupon. Don't get me started! I'm not certain, but I'm sure that I used a coupon to get one of the items I'm wearing today. I do know that I got the top on clearance at Target for 10 bucks, and the jeans at Banana Republic outlet for like 7 bucks! Seriously! Even I had to hold my tougue when the cashier was ringing it up...didn't want him to think that something was up and then recheck the price...only to find out they were more. So, I said nothing :) So, I was feeling flats and something a with a little brightness for today! I mean, it is Decemeber! We need to brighten it up somehow! Hope you like it!

SO! I realized that my memory card was still in my computer from yeseterday's post...therefore, the pics I took this morning were just saved on my camera and I have no cord with me. SO...I had Vickie take my pic at work. The one reason I'm sad is because you remember that laundry basket and the disaster that was my room in all the previous pics! I actually CLEANED! Oh well, check it out in the blog tomorrow!

Maybe Vickie is my new picture taker! This is SO much better then I can do at home!

Nice Little Sunday

I never do this, but I went to church on Saturday night so that I didn't have to go on Sunday. I really prefer to go on Sunday nights at 5, but I had a groupon for a yoga studio close to my house and their classes are not offered at very convenient times for me (mental note...check that BEFORE buying the groupon!). Anyway...so they have a class on Sunday evening, but it's during normal church time...so I have been going on Sunday mornings, but I have SO much to do around the house today that I decided to go on Saturday night. Hence, my nice little Sunday morning. Got up, walked the dog, had breakfast, planned meals for the week and had some hazelnut coffee (YUM! My Favorite....I blame Taylor for getting me hooked on coffee!), talked to my friend Sara on the phone (yeah for her new little baby girl), and then went grocery shopping. Anyway, so I have to run some more errands this afternoon and I still like to look cute for running errands. I know, I'm weird. I normally would put on jeans, but I thought this combo of yoga pants, tennis shoes, puffer vest, scarf (shock!), and yes...some accessrories was perfect for my day of errands/picking up around the house!
White Tee - Target
Grey Puffer Vest - Gapt Outlet
Yoga Pants - Target
Scarf - Birthday Present (Thanks Kristi Starr...LOVE it!)
Yes...I still accessorized! Silver Hoops earrings, silver watch and blank bangles. Simple. Cute.

Hope you like my "running errands" outfit! Cute and comfy!
HAD to include this pic of Fred, could it be that he loves to lay in the sun as much as I do?? He is laying exactly in the stream of sunlight!

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you're enjoying it as much as Fred is!!!

Running late today...seems to be a theme!!

OK, so lets just establish that I am always running late. BUT, it this blog and late too...which usually isn't the case. Having a crazy busy day at work...one where it all suddenly hits you about how busy you are and how much there is to do and how little hours there are in the day. Don't get me wrong I actually really love my job :) I love the people that I work with...and at least it's the kind of busy that I enjoy! BUT, I'm busy none the less! Looking forward to dinner (maybe a glass of wine??) and a little music with my friends tonight :) Love you ladies! Since I am going to work, straight to dinner..(did someone say maybe squeezing in some shopping?)...and then out to a concert with friends all without being able to go home. I thought maybe a blog about transitions from day to night would be appropriate. I'll admit, I went boring grey and black today. Regretted it later and thought of the perfect place to add color, but let's get real...somedays you just want to do black and white classic and call it good :) Especially the days you are running late! Below is the outfit I chose!

Black Blazer : Gap
White Buttond down: Banana Republic
Grey (with some sparkle) tank top: Express
Black Skinny Jeans : Old Navy
Black Boots : Steve Madden

I really just love the Blazer/Button down combination. I think people can make the mistake of assuming this would be too stuffy. I really would disagree. I think it just looks super pulled together and with the right accessories and pairings can still look casual. I could have/should have made the tank a color so that could have popped. But when your late, you go the easy route. It was also suggested that I wear this with a pair of colored jeans (Vickie had some Express or Limited ones from back in her highschool days and she said she loved!!!! them). It was an awesome suggestion. I know the colored jeans are such a trend right now and her suggestion might just make me feel like I could pull off a pair. I'm thinking the royal blue ones? I'll have to keep my eye out!

So, back to day to night. I think you can take this day to night by simply changing up the jewelry and shoes. Depending on how fancy you want to get, just sparkle up the jewelry for night. Instead of boots during the day you could also do a simple flat OR you could still do a flat for night, just make it have some bling! Here are suggestions below:

This is a suggestion for Day Jewelry. Cute Patent Flats...perfect for moving ;)

This is my "night" look. See the heels (Jessica Simpson Patent) or the flats (Target) are both cute but add some pizazz.

You can always mix and match the jewelry day to night...I tend to enjoy sparkle regardless of the time of day! :)

Also...sidenote...went to Bass Pro last night with Kristi and Pat to see Maddie go see Santa. She was so good! So Cute! Love her! Anyway, wanted to include that :) Happy Friday everyone!!

Did I mention I love a good scarf???

I think I have mentioned that :) And this particular one I just couldn't resist. First, it has PURPLE in it...everyone knows how hard it is for me to pass up that color and second, it's super warm!! :) Both of these things make me happy, and the warmth is just an extra bonus around this time of year (oh, and the fact that I work in sub zero temps...apparently they have not figured out it's winter at my job). The pics of the accessories this morning is going to leave much to be desired...again...running behind and I had to take the trash out this morning and I was late getting it out and I kept thinking the trash man was going to come before I could get it out. OK, two things I hate doing: Taking out the trash and cleaning the bathroom. Seriously, the trash is one reason why I need a BF. Please, all I need is someone to take it out to the end of the drive way AND bring the empty bins back in. I mean, they are just too large. I could EASLIY fit in them (maybe 2 of me) and there are two of them...one for trash and one for recycling. I have said it before and I'll say it again, I would pay someone to come and JUST clean the bathroom. I will gladly do everything else...but if you know anyone interested in cleaning my bathroom or taking out my trash (um, houseboy??) let me know! :) OK..I digress...back to the scarf! LOVE IT. Paired it with purple flats (not pictured, ugh! trash!). These flats weren't made for walking but since I sit at my computer all day...no prob! :) One thing I'm concerned about, it's supposed to snow...and I have flats on. I should have probably done skinny jeans and brown boots (ugh! trash!)...I think you all get the point! :) OK...did I complain too much today :( Sorry!! I really am in a good mood! Happy Thursday! I'll be MORE positive tomorrow!
Cowel Neck Khaki Sweater - Gap
Purple Plaid Scarf - Gap (this year!!)
Jeans - Express
Purple Patent Flats - Target

OK...just looked at the accessories pics, they are just NOT good...you can't see anything. I'll take one later and post it! :)

Safe driving tonight everyone, hope the snow doesn't start until after the evening rush! :)

Matchy Matchy

Hi Everyone!! OK, I have been described more than once (and I would even admit this about myself) that I am SUPER matchy matchy. I know, Clinton and Stacy always say that it's not necessary to match and while I most certainly value their opinion, I just really like to match. Like I like my jewelry to match what I am wearing and I will match my shoes and jewelry. SO, being aware of this about myself I have decided to try an step a little out of the box. I do mean a LITTLE...but still, baby steps, right?? :) I am now always looking for random but cute color combinations. I think other people do this really well, but me, not so much. So, we'll see how today works for me. I picked out this outfit last night and I was really excited about it. I have found that picking out the clothes the night before might be the key to this blog being a successful endeavor. Waiting until the morning is just too time consuming, and let's be real, I'm usually running late in the morning...so it's just better to at least be prepared when you also have to budget time to take a picture. I wish Fred had opposable thumbs and could help me out with this. Unfortunately, he's usually lounging (in luxury now that he has a SERTA bed thanks to Doreen)...I have been asked (mainly my sister requested) that I include pics of him...so here is what he is usually doing when I'm running around trying to take my pic:

Yep, that's right...just chillin. Per usual. Honestly, who can blame him, if I were him I would never leave that bed!

OK...back to the point of this whole blog:

OK, OK...so I still matched my shoes to my sweater...I said baby steps, right?? :) BUT, I think that adding the turquoise necklace with the orange and grey combo was fun and unexpected. Normally I would have thought, orange goes with brown and I would have worn a brown jacket/sweater and then brown/gold necklace. SO...this was stepping out for me! Hope you all can appreciate that! Anyway, love the orange and grey and the turquoise accents!

Grey Sweater - Express
Jeans - Not sure the brand I got them in a random clothing store in Aggieville in Manhattan....but I LOVE them!!

OK, first attempt at taking a pic of the accessories was only sort of successful. Again, running late, so I'll try to get a better pic for tomorrow.

Turquoise Necklace - I think I got it at Target?
Silver Ball Earrings - Express
Silver Watch - Premier
Silver Bracelet - Tiffany
Silver Cuff - Like Bracelet - Premier

SNOW??? and Birthdays!!

Good Morning everyone...I woke up, put on my warmest winter coat to take my dog out, opened the door and thought SNOW??? I had NO idea it was going to snow this morning. Now, I will say it was more of a dusting, but either way, I wasn't prepared. The good news is, my little puppy didn't seem to mind it at all! Now, when it's mid January and the snow is taller than him, that might be a different story. But, it went well this morning! :)
Birthdays!!!!! Happy Happy Birthday shout out to my birthday party buddy and super awesome friend Nikki!!! Yeah!!! Hope you are having an amazing day! :)
I had originally planned a different outfit for this morning, but of course changed my mind when I saw the snow. I thought boots were more appropriate for the day than flats. I need to keep my feet warm! I am loving the stripes this season! So, this cardigan is perfect! I know, I know, another cardigan...you'll learn a couple of things about me by reading this blog. I love a good cardigan, I love a good scarf, and I love a good jacket. These are my staples. I got 2 scarves for my birthday this year (Thank you, Kristi's) and I have been itching to wear them already! So, I busted one of them out this morning and I'm sure the other one won't be far behind! So, love this striped long cardigan and thought it paired perfectly with my new scarf! Hope you like it too!!

Here We Go....

OK, So this is my FIRST ever BLOG! I have been thinking about doing this for awhile and then talked about it this weekend with friends...and now it's born! I'm just getting started so the pics might need some work. When I say they MIGHT need some work, I mean they DEFINITELY need work. But, I was in a hurry this morning, SHOCKER, and this was the first time that I had ever used my camera timer. I went better than I anticipated, actually. So this blog is appropriately titled. I think the picture shows how much of a disaster my room is, I'll have to work on that for the future, but it shows what I go through each morning when I get dressed. I try to plan ahead, but sometimes it just doesn't work out so I end up trying on several things. I was being crazy cause I wanted something SUPER cute for my first blog post...but eventually just settled on this outfit. I hope it's not too "mom", but I mean I love a good cardigan :) I'm no fashionista, but I really just like to look cute. I know it's not necessary. But, I just prefer it. I like coming up with new outfit ideas and so I decided...why not put them on a blog. That would be fun! So, here I am. I'll try and take some additional pictures later of my Day 1 outfit, cause not sure you can see all the details.  I am really into Gold jewelry right now, in college I never would have imagined I would wear GOLD...eww!!! But it's super cute and I'm really into the Mustard colored things...I'm looking for a good cardigan if anyone has suggestions...anyway, that is why I paired this with the cute mustard flats :)

Green Cardigan - Ann Taylor Loft Outlet
Jeans - Banana Republic (my new favs)

I'll try to take better pictures of the jewelry...I'm ALL about accessorizing!!! I really hope you all enjoy this blog! This should be an adventure! Please feel free to post comments/questions! :)
