Black Blazer : Gap
White Buttond down: Banana Republic
Grey (with some sparkle) tank top: Express
Black Skinny Jeans : Old Navy
Black Boots : Steve Madden
I really just love the Blazer/Button down combination. I think people can make the mistake of assuming this would be too stuffy. I really would disagree. I think it just looks super pulled together and with the right accessories and pairings can still look casual. I could have/should have made the tank a color so that could have popped. But when your late, you go the easy route. It was also suggested that I wear this with a pair of colored jeans (Vickie had some Express or Limited ones from back in her highschool days and she said she loved!!!! them). It was an awesome suggestion. I know the colored jeans are such a trend right now and her suggestion might just make me feel like I could pull off a pair. I'm thinking the royal blue ones? I'll have to keep my eye out!
So, back to day to night. I think you can take this day to night by simply changing up the jewelry and shoes. Depending on how fancy you want to get, just sparkle up the jewelry for night. Instead of boots during the day you could also do a simple flat OR you could still do a flat for night, just make it have some bling! Here are suggestions below:
This is a suggestion for Day Jewelry. Cute Patent Flats...perfect for moving ;)
This is my "night" look. See the heels (Jessica Simpson Patent) or the flats (Target) are both cute but add some pizazz.
You can always mix and match the jewelry day to night...I tend to enjoy sparkle regardless of the time of day! :)
Also...sidenote...went to Bass Pro last night with Kristi and Pat to see Maddie go see Santa. She was so good! So Cute! Love her! Anyway, wanted to include that :) Happy Friday everyone!!
