Blog-o-polooza

OK, I know I have been totally MIA..but between geting ready for the holidays and then the actual holidays, things have just been hectic! My Christmas was awesome, it was really nice to have my Mom and Dad come down and spend Christmas in KC. Santa was very good to me and I hope he was good to all of you too! So, to kick off this blog...I took Thursday off work and went for coffee with friends and then to get a pedicure and do a little shopping :) I had a lot of friends come in from out of town for the holiday and I loved being able to spend time with all of them! I miss them a lot, and I love any excuse to get together with my friends...and all the kids:) So, here is the outfit from my Thursday off!! There some extra *BLING* to this outfit thanks to my sister! Happy Birthday to me!

I have only worn them once, but can't wait to wear them more. Don't want to OVER wear them though, is that possible?? OK, thoughts, I hope you love them as much as I do :)

NOW FOR SHOPPING DAY AT THE PLAZA WITH THE 'RENTS:

So, of course a visit from the parents is not complete without a shopping day at the plaza. We ventured down there on Friday...not gonna lie...I was worried about throngs of people and not making out of there in one piece! However, it was surprisingly calm and we had a very nice day...what is UP with this weather. I'm going to stop before I jinx it...but, trust me, I'm SUPER thankful! :) So, for walking around all day I thought that leggings were in order. I needed to be comfortable above all else. Plus, I love this sweater an I think it might be one of Krist's favorites too!

OK, so it seems as if I wore this scarf  many times in a row, but hey...its Christmas, it's red, and 'tis the season...plus I seriously love this scarf. Since nobody was going to be in the office Tuesday...I didn't try and jazz it up to much. But, cute little basic none-the-less. I was super tired on Tuesday and wanted "just one more day" off. Isn't that always the case :(

Wednesday:

Well, Wednesday was better, but still nobody at work. I got to go have sushi for lunch with a big group of friends...and that made the day brighter! I then had to run a million errands after work returning some gifts and replacing those gifts, and using coupons for my birthday that were about to expire (got a sweater at Banana for 5 bucks! Score!) So, here is Wednesday:

OK, love this scarf! It's infinity and it's fatigue pattern (army) and it has splashed of bright gold! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Got a compliment on it at lunch :) I rarely wear it, I feel like it's too unique to wear all the time, like people would notice...but it's super cute and perfect for a little lunch with friends :) Had to spice it up today since I knew I would leave my floor at work and actually SEE other people. I should work from home.
